Acceptable Use Policy

Rules for what you may and may not do when generating content with Trend Hop.

Last updated: 2026-10-10

Overview

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes the content and behavior rules that apply when you use Trend Hop. By using the service, you agree to follow these rules. They are part of our Terms of Service and are enforced to keep Trend Hop safe for creators, payment processors, and the broader public.

Scope

This AUP applies to your use of the service, including:

  • Text prompts and instructions submitted for generation.
  • Uploaded or linked reference photos, images, and videos.
  • AI-generated or edited images and videos, including their audio where present.
  • Content submitted, generated, stored, or shared through the service, and behavior involving the service or its safety and reporting channels.

These rules apply whether content is kept private or shared publicly. You remain responsible for having the rights and permissions needed for your inputs and for how you use generated results.

Motion references and identity

Trend Hop uses reference photos to generate a new source image, then uses a preset video to guide motion and timing. The people in the motion reference do not supply the identities for the generated video. The service is designed for motion-guided creation, not face swapping or replacing a performer in existing footage. You must not use it to create deceptive impersonations or non-consensual depictions of real people.

Content you must not generate

You must not use Trend Hop to create, request, or distribute any of the following:

  • Sexually explicit, pornographic, or sexually suggestive material, including depictions of nudity, erotic posing, or content designed to arouse. This applies to text prompts, reference images, and any generated output.
  • Intimate imagery of real people, including nude or sexual depictions of a real person, or imagery that makes a real person appear nude or in a sexual situation, whether or not you have their permission.
  • Hateful, harassing, or demeaning content that targets people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected status.
  • Violent or gory content, including graphic injuries, severe physical harm, torture, or content inciting or glorifying real-world violence.
  • Content that sexualizes, abuses, exploits, or endangers minors, including sexual or sexually suggestive depictions of minors. We may reject these requests outright.
  • Non-consensual use of a real person's likeness, voice, or identity, or content that impersonates someone or presents a generated performance as authentic footage. You must have permission to use the people and media you provide, and must not infringe anyone's privacy or intellectual property.
  • Images or videos of real people uploaded without their consent. Do not upload a photo or video of a real person unless that person has given you permission.
  • Deepfakes and deceptive face swaps, including realistic images or videos designed to pass as genuine footage of a real individual, public figure, or private person; placing a person's face or identity into existing footage of someone else; or altering a real person's face or identity to deceive, defame, or harass.
  • Copyright or trademark infringement, including unauthorized reproduction of protected characters, artwork, music, logos, or other protected material. Permission to use a person's photo does not grant rights to third-party media.
  • Content that promotes or facilitates illegal or dangerous activity, including encouragement of self-harm or suicide, instructions for unlawful weapon or drug manufacture, or assistance with dangerous misuse of weapons, drugs, or regulated substances. This rule does not by itself prohibit ordinary medical, educational, or safety-related descriptions that do not encourage or facilitate such conduct; the other content rules still apply.
  • Marketing material that promises "uncensored", "no filter", "NSFW", "18+", "unfiltered", or similarly unrestricted generation through Trend Hop.

Absolutely prohibited — zero tolerance

The following are prohibited without exception:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any sexual content involving minors.
  • Content promoting or facilitating terrorism, violent extremism, or mass violence.
  • Technical instructions for creating or using weapons of mass destruction.
  • Content inciting genocide or ethnic hatred.
  • Non-consensual deepfake sexual content depicting real individuals.

Once a credible critical violation is identified, we prioritize investigation and protective measures. We may suspend account access while investigating and terminate access for confirmed violations without a prior warning. We report or preserve information where required by applicable law and may refer suspected criminal activity to the appropriate authorities. These measures do not depend on the content being publicly shared.

Behavior you must not engage in

In addition to the content rules above, you must not:

  • Attempt to bypass or interfere with our content-safety systems, including probing or attacking screening services to evade safeguards. Good-faith reports of moderation errors or security concerns are welcome through our support email; this does not authorize bypassing safeguards or disruptive testing.
  • Reverse-engineer or scrape our models or pipelines, or resell access to the platform or its services without authorization, in ways that violate our Terms of Service or applicable law. This restriction does not itself prohibit selling your generated creative work; rights and permitted uses remain subject to our Terms of Service, applicable law, and third-party rights.
  • Use the service to spam, phish, or distribute malware through any channel.
  • Use the service for surveillance, discrimination, or exploitation of any person or group.
  • Upload content you do not have the right to use, including copyrighted material, trademarked logos, or private imagery of other people.

User Reporting

Anyone can report content or behavior suspected of violating this AUP, including prohibited, abusive, or harmful generated images or videos, child-unsafe content, impersonation, hate, violence, or infringement. You do not need to be the affected person or prove a violation before reporting:

Send a report to contact@trendhop.net with the subject Content Safety Report. No account or login is required. This is our designated channel for content-safety reports. Our support team checks this inbox during normal support operations, reviews reports, requests additional information where needed, and communicates review outcomes. It is not a continuously staffed emergency service.

Include the task ID or content link/reference, the suspected policy violation, and enough context to help us locate and assess the content. Provide safe supporting evidence where appropriate, but do not upload or email illegal material, including child sexual abuse material; give the reference and a text description instead. Report promptly because media may no longer be available after the retention periods described in our Privacy Policy.

We normally respond within 3 business days. This is an initial-response target, not a guarantee that every investigation will be completed within that period. We may request more information and communicate further steps through the same email thread. See Content Moderation below for how we review reports and act on confirmed violations.

Reporting principles

  • Privacy. We limit disclosure of a reporter's identity and contact details to what is reasonably needed to investigate, obtain professional assistance, or comply with applicable law. We do not routinely disclose these details to the reported user; absolute anonymity or confidentiality cannot be guaranteed.
  • Fair review. We assess reports objectively against this AUP and the available evidence. Reporting content does not by itself require us to remove it or restrict an account. We may combine duplicate reports and ask for information needed to identify the content.
  • Good-faith reporting. Honest mistakes are not abuse. Knowingly false, malicious, or spam reports may be recorded and may result in a warning or account restriction where appropriate. We may stop responding to repetitive abusive messages without disregarding new, credible safety information.
  • Urgent risks. Reports involving child safety, terrorism, or a credible threat of serious harm are prioritized once identified. Mark the subject Urgent Content Safety Report and explain the risk without sending illegal media. If someone is in immediate danger, contact the appropriate emergency services rather than waiting for an email response.

Appeals

If you believe an automated refusal or account restriction was applied in error, send an email to contact@trendhop.net with the subject Content Safety Appeal, the task or account reference, and your explanation. We review the available records and reply by email. An appeal does not automatically release a blocked output or restore a restricted account.

Content Moderation

Automated checks

Our platform supports automated screening of generation prompts and reference images or videos before generation, and screening of generated images and videos before results are displayed. Screening depends on the configured moderation channels. For enabled checks, only a pass verdict permits processing to continue. A review or block verdict is refused rather than automatically released or placed in a human approval queue. If an enabled check cannot verify content, processing is also refused.

If a generated image or video fails an enabled output check, the task is marked as failed and the output is withheld from the user's result. Withholding a result is not a claim that all stored copies have been automatically deleted. Completed automated moderation decisions are recorded for investigation. Automated checks may miss violations; attempts to evade screening are prohibited.

Human review of reports

Our support team manually reviews content reports received at contact@trendhop.net. After a report is filed, we follow these steps:

  1. Receive and assess the report. We normally send an initial response within 3 business days. We check the supplied task ID or content reference and ask for additional information when necessary. This response target is not a deadline for completing the investigation.
  2. Review the content and records. We assess the report against this AUP and examine available generation records, automated moderation decisions, and relevant images or videos where still available. A report alone does not establish a violation.
  3. Decide and take action. If we confirm a violation, we may issue an email warning, suspend or terminate the responsible account's access, or report suspected illegal activity to the appropriate authorities. If no violation is established, we explain the outcome or request further information. We choose measures based on severity, available evidence, repeated violations, and applicable law, and may temporarily suspend access while investigating a credible serious risk. We do not require every case to start with a warning.
  4. Notify and record. We communicate the review outcome to the reporter by email, subject to privacy and legal limits, and record our findings and actions in the email correspondence. Human report decisions and automated moderation decisions are separate records. Users may appeal an automated refusal or account restriction through the email channel described in User Reporting. If an investigation takes longer, we may provide a progress update or explain what additional information is needed. We do not guarantee a fixed resolution time or disclose another user's private records or internal safety methods.

Requests blocked before generation are not charged. Outputs withheld after generation do not receive an automatic credit return, including when output verification is unavailable. You may ask support to review the decision under our Refund Policy.

Enforcement

We may suspend or terminate access for any account that violates this AUP. We may also report suspected illegal activity to the relevant authorities. Some content-policy violations trigger automatic refusal at the prompt level and never reach generation. We may also investigate reports and conduct manual reviews after generation. Violations identified through either process are treated as violations of this policy.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this AUP to reflect new risks, new regulations, or new operational requirements. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
